Theatrical Program “In the World of Russian Fairy Tales” at House of Hope

On the occasion of Russia Day, which is celebrated on June 12, the Russian House in Kuala Lumpur held a number of events in different states of Malaysia.

The first event was the charity children’s program “In the World of Russian Fairy Tales” on June 10, 2022 for the children of the House of Hope in Georgetown, Penang State.

The title page of the huge textile Book of Russian fairy tales is dedicated to the works of Alexander Pushkin, whose “Tale of Tsar Saltan” was performed in Russian, Malay and English. It is pleasant that Professor Viktor Pogadaev found an opportunity to translate and publish two parts of the work in the Malaysian magazine Dewan Sastera. After the bright program, the House of Hope received gifts from the Russian House in Kuala Lumpur and our partners – a company that donated a stock of toothpaste SPLAT Malaysia for children.

We thank our compatriots living in Penang for their help in organizing the first charity screening of the program “In the World of Russian Fairy Tales”!
