Over the years, the University has become one of the largest in the Far East multidisciplinary educational and scientific complex to provide the training, vocational retraining and raising of qualification of specialists under basic educational programs for bachelors, masters and graduates, as well as implementing a postgraduate education of scientific specialties in doctoral courses.

The bachelor degree is the basic level of higher education with practical oriented character. Upon completion a 4 year education and defence of the graduation work, a graduate gets a diploma of higher professional education with the award degree “bachelor”. The term of bachelor’s studies is 4 years, and in the direction of “Design of architectural environment” is 5 years.
4 programs of higher professional education in our university are implemented in the traditional type of learning – “specialty”. Duration learning in this case is 5 years, and for future aircraft manufacturers is 5,5 years. University’s graduate who has successfully completed an educational program and passed state final assessment, get a diploma of higher professional education and is awarded the degree “specialist” or “engineer”.

Master Course is the second stage of two-level system of higher professional education, after the bachelor course.
Those who have received the diploma of bachelor, specialist or master are allowed to study the M.C. program. The period of studying is two years at full-time department.
The Master Course is required for students, wishing or having the opportunity to be engaged in research activities, to promote scientific and technical progress in the laboratories or to teach at the University in the future. Education in the Master Course pursues the aim to understand the theoretical aspects in the selected direction of training and to focus students’ attention on research or teaching activities in this direction.
Upon completion of the program and the master’s thesis defence, students are awarded with the diplomas of higher professional education with the degree of «Master». The Master’s diploma as well as Specialist’s diploma, allows you to enter postgraduate training program, it is recognized in all countries and provides transfer from one academic institution to another.

Enterprise practice for high educational institutio is an attempt to connect theoretical preparedness with formation of student’s practical skills for simplifying their appearance on the labor market. It is an attempt to get feedback from the companies and organizations which accept students for practice. The practice shows quality of education and it is an opportunity to get additional information about the problems a student should work at to conform to modern requirements of the labor market. This is the way one should refer to the practice.
The practice as a component of basic educational program and as a kind of academic work is directed to strengthening of theoretical and practical knowledge,received by the students in the process of education; gaining and perfection of practical skills of the chosen specialty.
The most active enterprises which provide our university’s students with practice are Amursky Shipbuilding Plant, Komsomolsk-na-Amure Aviation Plant, Amurmetal, Askold (Arsenyev, Primorsky krai), Rosneft – Komsomolsky Oil Refining Plant, Rosneft-Eastoilproduct, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company which can accept about 2000 students per year for various kinds of practice.
The main purpose of enterprise practice is formation of the idea of future professional activity, usage of modern technologies in the chosen profession, collection of the necessary information for writing a practice report and preparedness of projects and degree works.
Enterprises of various organizational and legal forms, banking structure, tax inspection, insurance companies respond to the request of the University to take students on the production or pre-graduation practice. There are agreements with the administrations municipalities and administration of Komsomolsk-na-Amure.
Nomenclature of basic enterprises for practice is constantly expanded and updated with enterprises and
organizations of Komsomolsk-na-Amure and Khabarovsk, as well as Arseniev, Viluchinsk, Nikolaevsk-na-Amure, and the settlement Vanino. Often students are successfully practicing in Saint-Petersburg.
After getting to know the place for educational and productive practice, students have no idea that it is the moment when their future carrier and professional growth basis are being made. Everything they know during the practice will be not only a level indicator of knowledge gained from university, but also invaluable life experience which is useful for professional sphere and life as a whole. Practice gives to students a unique opportunity to show their best to their potential employer.
