Training in Russian: finalists of the contest “Download knowledge! 2020″

Malaysia was included in the list of countries whose representatives became finalists of the international teacher competition.
In March 19, 2020, the results of the first stage of the international competition of pedagogical skills among teachers of Russian schools abroad “Download knowledge! 2020.” Malaysia was included in the list of countries whose representatives became finalists of the international teacher competition. This year the competition attracted more than 220 teachers from 40 countries of all parts of the world – Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe. The finalists of the competition were 26 best teachers from 14 countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Palestine, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Estonia. Roman Subbotin, a teacher of Russian as a foreign language from the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Malaysia, took part in the competition and became one of its finalists.
The key goal of the competition is to increase the social and professional status of teachers of Russian schools abroad, to identify, support and encourage talented teachers of Russian schools abroad who develop and implement teaching methods and tools in the field of training for the digital economy. In the course of participation in the competition, teachers exchange experience with colleagues from different countries, get unique opportunities in the dissemination of their methods and training tools through digital technologies.
Rossotrudnichestvo organizes the international contest of pedagogical skills “Download Knowledge!” the second time, last year 102 applications were submitted to the competition, and three teachers from India, Turkey and Kazakhstan became the winners.
The final tests of the competition are traditionally held in Moscow, where in addition to the full-time tour, finalists get acquainted with the latest achievements of Russian educational technologies introduced in Russian educational organizations. In 2020, the co-organizers of the competition were: the Committee on Education and Science of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Enlightenment Publishing House, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Moscow City Pedagogical University, State Institute of the Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin, online university “Netologiya”, Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, educational center “Tsaritsyno”. An interesting educational program in Moscow is planned for the finalists, as well as gifts are prepared – a unique 3rd edition of the Atlas of new professions.
Following the results of the final face-to-face tour, three winners will be selected – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.
According to official information and recommendations from Rossotrudnichestvo, the final tests of the competition and the awarding of the winners will take place after the restrictive measures have been lifted in connection with the threat of the spread of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19.
The time and dates of the final events will be announced later.
